INTRODUCING THE INTRUSION
The Intrusion is an American Rock&Roll band out of St.Louis, Missouri. The band consists of Kalyene Vineyard/ Lead Vocals & Rhythm, Koda Truijio/Lead Guitar, Michael Shine/Bass, & Preston Schepers/Drums. Since 2022, The Intrusion has been building a reputation as true visionaries in the Rock&Roll scene. Starting out creating music and playing shows in the St. Louis area, The Intrusion quickly built a devoted fanbase. Rocking venues and opening minds ever since. The band draws crowds from far and wide, and continues to spread musical light in every new destination. All you have to do is listen, come watch them play & be part of The Intrusion family.
ALL ABOUT THE INTRUSION
As a kid, drummer, Preston Schepers has always had music in his blood and when he found out that his grandpa had a band in the ‘60s, he knew that he had to continue the tradition. His grandpa’s band was named The Intruders and they were a hit all over the St. Louis area with their Rock&Roll singles. In addition, when trying to find the perfect members, Preston Schepers called up, lead vocalist, Kaylene Vineyard, lead guitarist, Koda Truijio, and bassist, Michael Shine, to complete The Intrusion lineup.
The Intrusion played at Pop’s, The Blueberry Hill Duck Room, Off-Broadway, Chesterfield Ampitheater, The Sinkhole, The Conservatory, Post Commons, and many other venues. Including Happy Trails Festival. They have been featured in local newspapers and radio stations like The Advantage, The Alestle, BANDEDPR, The Riverbender, The Telegraph, RiverFront Times, and WBGZ 107.1 Station.
The Intrusion is getting gigs lined up for the 2024 season and working on new originals for their fans. They are currently in the studio, getting ready to release some songs in 2024. The Intrusion is influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Supertramp, Deep Purple, and Free.
